I am an old person of 49 years of age and suddenly i have noticed that there are some spots on my back. when diagnosed, the doctors said it was seborrheic keratoses and is quite common in this age. is this statement of my doctor true or i am one in millions who is suffering from this disease.
Is seborrheic keratoses cancerous?
The sudden impingement of the spots on my skin also make me worry if these are cancerous and malignant and do they shorten my life in any way? is this disease quite prevalent in young age also and is it contagious, so that someone near me can also get infected with it?
Is this with me throughout my life or can it be treated? my doctor said that it has no treatment and its impinged on my body forever. but i still believe the modern world has so much progressed to deal with everything so can it be treated and if yes then what are the side effects and how expensive it can be? are their any home treatments for seborrheic keratoses?
